About
The Area
Maharashtra's oldest and largest National Park, Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserves holds a special place in the state's conservation efforts for India's national animal. It was created in 1955 and it is the home to tigers and other wild animals, birds, reptiles, butterflies, and insects. The protected area consists of thick forests relieved by smooth meadows and deep valleys as the land slopes from north to south. Tadoba and safaris go hand in hand and on your tiger safari trip, you might even spot wild dogs and shy sloth bears.
